How to Use Vitastyle Color Cream

Materials Needed

Vitastyle Colors Cream tube (100 ml)
Vitastyle developer of your chosen volume (6–40 vol)
Non-metal mixing bowl and tint brush
Protective gloves, cape or towel
Sectioning clips
Timer

Patch Test

Before full application, perform a 48-hour patch test:

Mix a small amount of Colors Cream with developer (1:1.5 ratio).
Apply behind the ear or on the inner elbow.
Leave for 45–60 minutes, then rinse and wait 48 hours.
If redness, itching or swelling occurs, do not proceed.

Mixing the Color Cream

Squeeze the entire 100 ml tube of Colors Cream into the bowl.
Add 150 ml of developer (1:1.5 color-to-developer ratio).
Stir until the mixture is smooth and uniform, scraping the sides and bottom.

Sectioning Your Hair

Start with dry, detangled hair.
Create four even sections:
- Part horizontally from ear to ear at the crown.
- Clip the top half away.
- Draw a vertical line from the nape to the crown, dividing the bottom half into two.
- Repeat on the top half.

Application Steps

First Full Application
- Apply the cream to the lengths and ends, starting at the back, about 2 cm from the scalp.
- Leave on for 15 minutes.
- Apply remaining mixture at the roots and process for 20 minutes.
For Super-lightening Shades
- Apply on lengths and ends; process for 20 minutes.
- Apply at roots; process for 25 minutes.
Root Touch-up Only
- Apply the mixture to regrowth; process for 35 minutes.
- For super-lightening, process roots for 45 minutes.

Rinse and Aftercare

Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water until it runs clear.
Shampoo with a color-protecting formula, then apply a nourishing conditioner or mask.
Use sulfate-free, color-safe products and limit heat styling to extend vibrancy.

Bonus Tips

Choose developer strength based on desired lift:
- 6 vol for toning or refresh;
- 10 vol for grey blending;
- 20 vol for standard coverage;
- 30–40 vol for 2–4 levels of lift.
Always work on towel-draped, old clothes to avoid stains.
For richer reflection, add a few drops of “Cream Booster” or “Cream Corrector” from the Vitastyle range.
